License Activation
Authica Pro requires an active license to unlock Pro features, receive updates, and access Pro functionality.
License activation is available only after the Free version has been removed and the Pro version has been installed and activated.
Before Activating Your License
Before you can activate an Authica Pro license, make sure you have completed the Pro installation process:
- Download the latest Authica Pro ZIP file.
- Deactivate the Free version of Authica.
- Delete the Free version from Plugins → Installed Plugins.
- Upload and install the Authica Pro ZIP file.
- Activate Authica Pro.
After Authica Pro is active, you can activate your license from one of two locations.
Option 1: Activate from Authica Account
To activate your license from the Authica Account page:
- Log in to your WordPress admin area.
- Go to Authica → Account.
- Enter your Authica Pro license key if requested.
- Click Activate License.
- Wait for the activation confirmation.
After activation, your Pro features will become available inside the Authica admin pages.
Option 2: Activate from the Plugins Page
You can also activate or change your license directly from the WordPress Plugins page.
- Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
- Find Authica Pro in the plugin list.
- Click Change License.
- Enter your Authica Pro license key if requested.
- Click Activate License.
This method is useful if you are already on the Plugins page after installing Authica Pro.
Troubleshooting
I do not see the Account page
Make sure Authica Pro is installed and activated. The license/account options are only available after the Pro version is active.
I only see the Free version
This usually means the Free plugin is still installed or active. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins, deactivate and delete the Free version, then upload and activate the Pro ZIP file.
I do not see Change License
The Change License link appears on the Plugins page for Authica Pro. If it is missing, confirm that the Pro version is installed, not the Free version.
