Authica Installation

Authica can be installed as a free plugin from WordPress.org or upgraded to Authica Pro after purchase. The Free and Pro versions should not be active at the same time. When upgrading to Pro, replace the Free version with the Pro package.

Installing the Free Version

To install Authica Free from your WordPress dashboard:

1. Log in to your WordPress admin area.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New.
3. Search for Authica.
4. Click Install Now.
5. After installation finishes, click Activate.

After activation, Authica will appear in your WordPress admin menu.

You can now open Authica → Dashboard and begin configuring your login security, login appearance, and protection settings.

Upgrading from Free to Pro

Authica Pro is installed as a separate plugin ZIP file. After purchasing or starting a trial, download the Pro version from your Authica account or purchase confirmation page.

Before installing Pro, remove the Free version from your site.
To upgrade from Authica Free to Authica Pro:

1. Download the latest Authica Pro ZIP file.
2. Log in to your WordPress admin area.
3. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
4. Find Authica Free.
5. Click Deactivate.
6. After deactivation, click Delete to remove the Free version.
7. Go to Plugins → Add New.
8. Click Upload Plugin.
9. Choose the Authica Pro ZIP file.
10. Click Install Now.
11. After installation finishes, click Activate Plugin.
12. Enter or activate your Pro license if prompted.

After activation, Authica Pro will replace the Free version and unlock Pro features.

Important:

Authica Pro replaces the Free version. Do not keep both versions active at the same time.

Before upgrading, make sure you have downloaded the latest Authica Pro ZIP file and have access to your license or account page.
